Carpet Link has been trading successfully in Link Drive since 1994. Unlike most of the big carpet chains, this proudly independent store is staffed by people who own, manage and operate the business. While owner Paul Nickless has been in the carpet business since 1974, Kevin Morrison, with 22 years experience, is an expert on carpet construction.

They deal only with suppliers who are good manufacturers with dependable warranty programmes and back-up services. "Service is the selling point of any business," says Kevin. "We talk to customers, we go and measure up their house free of charge, we scale their plans and work out the cost of installation. We'll meet them back at the house, present the plan, and give them a full breakdown of the cost of installation."
